The Outfit Section

One simple way to make getting dressed easier is to create an Outfit Section in your closet.

I teach women to create a collection of go-to outfits they love for their day-to-day lives, so they don't have to figure out what to wear every day.

An Outfit Section is a designated area in your closet where you keep the pieces that make up those go-to outfits. These are the pieces you know work together, you feel good in, and fit your day-to-day life.

If your closet already has separate sections, simply choose one area for your go-to outfits or you can use a divider to create one.

Then, instead of looking at your entire closet every morning and making a hundred little micro decisions about what to wear, what goes with what, what still fits, how to style it, what shoes to wear, whether it's comfortable, and whether it suits the occasion, you have your tested, go-to outfits that you already know work.

You can get dressed quickly and easily without having to think about it.

Everything else can still exist in your closet, including your formal clothes, vacation pieces, off-season items, and things you only wear occasionally, but they don't need to be part of your everyday decision-making.

It's not about having a perfect closet.

It's about having one simple, streamlined section that makes getting dressed easier.

If you want to stop wondering what to wear, create go-to outfits you love, and build a simpler wardrobe that works for your real life, The 20 Outfit Wardrobe System is 20% off right now and comes with a printable Outfits Divider.
